After discussion during the February 21st and March 20th meetings, the Board of Fire Commissioners will move the meetings to 3:00 p.m. on the third Monday of each month, starting in April. Meetings are now held in person at the Eastsound Fire Hall, 45 Lavender Land, and can be joined remotely via Zoom.
Public participation and input are vital parts of each public meeting. Public comment will continue to be held, and the Board of Fire Commissioner’s meeting will continue to be recorded and available on the website. The board felt the need to adjust the meeting time to facilitate community involvement and accommodate the busy schedules of our volunteers.
