Quick Facts

Residential Permits: (natural vegetation only)
Commercial Permits: (requires inspection)
Season: October through May (weather dependent)
Summer: Burn ban June through September

Basic Requirements

  • Water source required (hose or buckets)

  • Metal shovel on site

  • Permit holder must be present

  • Check fire danger rating before burning

  • No burn barrels allowed

Recreational Fires (No Permit Needed)

Small campfires are allowed unless burn ban is in effect:

  • Maximum 3 feet diameter

  • Clean, dry firewood only

  • 2-foot cleared area around fire

  • Must be in fire ring or pit
