Orcas Island Fire & Rescue provides free, properly-fitted helmets for all ages. A correctly fitted helmet can prevent serious head injuries and save lives.

How to Get Your Helmet

Where: Eastsound Fire Station (45 Lavender Lane)
When: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Cost: Absolutely free

Important: Please call ahead to schedule an appointment. Our office staff are also emergency responders who may be out on calls during regular hours.

Custom Fitting Service

We don't just hand out helmets - we make sure they fit properly. Bring your child with you so our trained staff can ensure the helmet provides maximum protection. A poorly fitted helmet won't protect you when you need it most.
