The Board of Fire Commissioners appointed new commissioner, Leith Templin, at a special meeting of the District on Thursday, March 24th, 2022. Leith fills Seat #1 and will fulfill the unexpired term through December 2023, at which point a public election will be held for public vote for the remaining two years of the term through 2025.
Leith has closely followed Orcas Fire for years, contributing time by participating in strategic planning and department subcommittees. She joins the Board with decades of local board involvement and is eager to implement her knowledge and expertise to assist in guiding the District forward.
