Scene delcared safe. Size up of bus interior for evacuation

Firefighters and EMS extricate victims

Triage area determined

Patient injury(s) determined at triage area

Green or walking wounded

Yellow or serious injury

Red or critically injuried

Patients stabilized and monitored by EMTs

Serious patients re-assessed

The most serious are transported first

Transportation off-island is by air or boat.

Safety for both victims and responders top priority

Orcas Fire has 2 ALS and 1 BLS medic units

Some patients could be treated at local medical center
